AN INITIATIVE FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER
This event was sponsored and organized by the East African Community Center (EACC), dba Kulan Center, based in Minneapolis, MN on September 1, 2019. The event brought together diverse community members and leaders from across Minnesota. One of the core principles of the initiative is to make a meaningful change in the immediate environment of our at-risk youth and the wellbeing of our immigrant families. EACC aims to inspire a change that transcends the narrow confines of our present reality that perpetuate systemic disparities and suffering within our control.
